Hi everyone! My name is Osiris and Gola's Kitchen is a spin off from my Instagram hashtag #getinthekitchengola. The hashtag features all the meals Michal has made me throughout our relationship. Those who know me and my partner Michal, know that we love to eat and cook. When we met it was food that brought us together and 4 years later it is food that has kept us together. 

We are still in the beginning stages of developing a business model for Gola's Kitchen, but for starters I thought it would be nice to create a platform where we can share our journey, stories, recipes, etc. We are hoping an online presence can help us get a better idea of the route we're headed. 

Michal is a self taught home cook and bonafide outdoorsmen. He was born in Czech Republic and immigrated to Queens, New York at the age of 18. He enjoys drinking beer, watching fights on You Tube, and sitting around a campfire. He is a retired graffiti artist, but continues to doodle. His life dream is to move to a tropical island where he can grow his own fruits and vegetables, catch his own fish, and serve food on the beach.

I work doing marketing and events, and went to school for graphic design. She was born in the Philippines and immigrated to Long Beach, CA at the age of 5. She loves green onions on most things, picking flowers in public and private properties, and keeping things organized. She used to breakdance, and still doesn't know how to ride a bike. Her life dream is to have a general store featuring both vintage pieces, home goods, with a little deli counter.
